About the Gallery Walk
The Center is full of excitement for this year’s Gallery Walk, which offers once-a-month opportunities to experience the limitless artistry of Floyd County. Eleven participating galleries and studios will be opening their doors for the event. Visit each of these local epicenters of creativity on June 19th, July 17th, August 21, September 18th & October 16th, 2022, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Food truck cuisine will be available.
Gallery Walk Passport Card
On each gallery walk date, there will be an opportunity to win prizes. To be eligible, collect your Gallery Walk Passport and visit five or more participating galleries / studios, receiving a stamp from each. Then turn in your Gallery Walk Passport by the end of the day. Be sure to participate each month for more opportunities to win.

Sarah Hasty Williams Studio & Gallery

A fine art gallery on one side and working studio on the other, filled with the work of internationally acclaimed artist and graphic designer, Sarah Hasty Williams. The gallery features framed mixed water-media paintings of mountain landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, birds and a special series of rural Ireland. Blind Cat is a working art studio featuring an array of paintings, hand built ceramics, and mixed media pieces by artists Lore Deighan and Aven Tanner. Typically not open to the public, Blind Cat studio is happy to open its door exclusively for the Floyd Gallery Walk.

The site of a former dairy farm, is now home to an arts and cultural facility for the traditional and contemporary arts. “The Maggie” offers unique local and regional art, a variety of art classes, and professional custom picture framing services. Our multi-talented artists, artisans, and authors hail from Floyd as well as the surrounding counties in Southwestern Virginia.
