Combing Wool to Spin: Tools and Techniques

Taking a wool fiber supply from the lock to a rolag. The student will learn an effective and ergonomic method of comb handling to produce a consistent fiber preparation. They will learn which types of fleece and wool are best suited to the combing process and how process that for combing. The student will then spin their results. Nothing is required, all fiber and tools will be provided. If a student wants to bring their own combs and fiber they are encouraged to do so. Ensure tools are marked and fiber is clean. Material fee of $15 paid directly to the intructor.
