The call was put out to area artists, asking the question, ‘From Slinkys to flowers, what does Spring Time mean to you?’ and the community responded with more than 50 works of art in a wide variety of styles and mediums, including metal, wood, clay, oil paint and more. Participating Artists in the Spring Time show are: Charlie Brouwer, Patricia Carr, Carolyn Deck, Christian DeMaria, Megan Elder-Taylor, Amy Gallagher, Barbara Gillespie, Vanessa York Gourley, Betsy Layman, David Lunt, Cheryl Mackian, J.W. Myers, Amy Nichols, Joni Pienkowski, Ryan Riggs, Amber Rodgers, Marsha Slopey-Paulekas, Howard Wenger and Joli Ayn Wood.
In addition to the themed exhibit in the Hayloft Gallery, Perception and Space, an exhibit of oil paintings by Rosalind Waiwaiole, will be opening in the Falcon Gallery, and Self Love Through Photography, a photography project by Springhouse Community School high school sophomore Anna Grace Williams will be opening in the Breezeway Gallery.
Please join us as we welcome all of these artists to the Center at a reception in their honor on Saturday April 14, 2018, 5:00 – 7:00 pm. This gathering promises to inspire and impress – and offers an opportunity to mingle with outstanding talent of all ages. Opening reception is free with light refreshments and a cash bar. All three exhibits will be on display until June 2, 2018.
