Clubs & Hosted Programs

In support of the community’s efforts to promote the the arts, The Floyd Center for the Arts occasionally hosts a variety of free or specially-priced activities. This year these include:

Fine HeArts, Senior Arts Group 

Meets the  2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 10am-12pm.

This group is free to join.  It is lead by volunteers and is self-lead by the group participants.  Please call the Center to find out what materials you should bring (if any) when you plan to join the group.  The current volunteer lead person is Donna Hartpence.

The Floyd Quilter’s Guild

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month

10am-12noon
Membership is open/Annual dues $15.00

This organization establishes a framework within which experienced and beginning quilters may learn from one another, sharing techniques and quilting advances; and to foster within  the community an awareness of quilting as both a historical and a living creative contribution to our lives as a community.
