Exhibit open October 13 thru November 25, reception held Saturday, October 21, 5-7pm
Communities can be small, large, exclusive or inclusive and everyone is part of one or, more likely, many communities. For this exhibition we invited submissions of works of art that express feelings or ideas about community, or were created with or for a community.
Floyd Center for the Arts is proud to host an open exhibition on this theme of community. Community is a broad topic and the Center has received a broad range of entries – including everything from traditional paintings, photographs, and sculptures by individual artists to collaborative works.
Please join us for a reception on Saturday, October 21, from 5 to 7 pm. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be on hand.
