Floyd Plein Air Festival Patron Passes

Two types of tickets are available!

Exclusive All-Access Patron Pass $100 (Limit of 25 available):

  • Thursday, August 16, 6-10pm: Farm to Table Dinner with Festival Artists.  Organic and farm-fresh foods will be prepared for this unique experience at Riverstone Organic Farm by Chef .  Dinner will feature wines from Chateau Morrisette Winery.  Artist works from the day of painting will be on display and available for purchase to dinner patrons.
  • Saturday, August 18, 4-5pm: Collectors Preview Reception.  Start picking out your favorite pieces, enjoy a glass of wine and mingle with the artists in a casual atmosphere at the Floyd Center for the Arts before the doors open to the public.
  • Plus all the ticketed events of a Standard Patron Pass

Standard Patron Pass $25:

  • Wednesday, August 15, 1-4pm: Artist Painting Demonstration on the Pressing Patio at Chateau Morrisette Winery. Sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery under the shade of the patio, while festival participating artist, Thomas Bradshaw, paints and discusses his plein air approach.
  • Wednesday, August 15, 3-4pm: Private wine tasting with festival artists at Chateau Morrisette Winery.  Light refreshments served.
  • Friday, August 17, 1-4pm: Artist Painting Demonstration and Talk in Downtown Floyd.  Join Festival Juror, Valerie Craig, as she paints the unique town of Floyd.  Private viewing area will be roped off for festival artists and patrons to sit, watch, and discuss with Valerie.

There are many free events during the festival.  Please join us as much as you can throughout the week!

  • Monday, August 14, 10am-5pm: Open painting time for artists at Apple Ridge Farm
  • Monday, August 14, 5pm-7pm: Welcome Reception at Apple Ridge Farm, light refreshments and cash beer/wine bar
  • Tuesday, August 15, all day: Open painting time for artists on the Blue Ridge Parkway
  • Wednesday, August 16, daybreak-1pm, 5pm-nightfall: Open painting time for artists at Chateau Morrisette Winery
  • Thursday, August 17,daybreak-5pm: Open painting time for artists at Riverstone Organic Farm
  • Friday, August 18, daybreak-1pm, 5pm-nightfall: Open painting time for artists in Downtown Floyd
  • Saturday, August 19, 9am-12pm: Quick Paint Competition at Chateau Morrisette Winery
  • Saturday, August, 19, 5pm-9pm: Festival Celebration, refreshments and cash beer/wine bar, announcement by Juror of Festival Award winners.
