Class Description: Polymer clay is easy to make larger beads and pendants with, but they can get SO heavy! Check out how Teri Walters, our resident polymer clay guru, makes hollow beads for some awesome jewelry. Using forms like cookie cutters, she’ll show you how to drape the clay and seal so have a large form at a fraction of the weight. You’ll make so creative and unique earring and pendants in this short, but informational workshop.

About the Instructor: Teri Walters was introduced to polymer clay in 1999 and quickly became a “polyholic”. Since then, her artwork has taken her to many different places. She has been featured on local television, has won 1st and 3rd places in Polymer Cafe magazine for her work in millefiori caning and mixed media work, featured in newspapers, participated in various exhibits, has her creations in retail stores, and can be found at local craft shows selling and teaching in her booth. Teri has a great desire to teach and thoroughly enjoys passing on her knowledge and experiences in polymer clay to all those desiring to learn.
