Class Description: Balloons are not the only thing you can blow up that are fun to make! This workshop will have you creating a very unique, puffed-up, decorative polymer clay box. Polymer clay is a versatile medium that artist Teri Walters loves. She’ll help you blow up your clay, making a hollow form that you’ll bake to harden first. You’ll cut a lid out of the hardened clay form and then use unbaked clay to add handles, feet and other decorations to your box.

About the Instructor: Teri Walters was introduced to polymer clay in 1999 and quickly became a “polyholic”. Since then, her artwork has taken her to many different places. She has been featured on local television, has won 1st and 3rd places in Polymer Cafe magazine for her work in millefiori caning and mixed media work, featured in newspapers, participated in various exhibits, has her creations in retail stores, and can be found at local craft shows selling and teaching in her booth. Teri has a great desire to teach and thoroughly enjoys passing on her knowledge and experiences in polymer clay to all those desiring to learn.
