In recent months, we have enjoyed looking back at the history of The Jacksonville Center for the Arts. Twenty years ago, The Jacksonville Center opened its doors as Floyd’s community art center. From the early days until now, the Jacksonville Center family has worked tirelessly to provide a venue for artists, exhibitions, education, and music.
As 2015 comes to a close, we look forward to planning the next 20 years and how we can remain a vital part of the Floyd community, as a leader and partner to the people and businesses of our region. We ask that you help us achieve this mission by considering a year-end donation, your support is critical to our continued success. We have a generous group of committed patrons who have made a pledge to match $20,000 in donations that are given to the Center during this year end campaign.
To ensure we are able to full advantage of this pledge we are hosting an exciting year end campaign that includes raffle prizes for donors from now until December 18th. Each week we will announce a new prize, and a raffle will be held from the names of donors who have generously given that week.
Donors who give over $100 at anytime during the campaign will be entered to win our grand prize of two general admission tickets to FloydFest 16, Dreamweavin’, courtesy of Across the Way Productions.
You can also set up donations to repeat monthly! So please give often and give big during this year’s end, you don’t want to miss out being a part of the future of the Jacksonville Center!
